Sanatçı Damien Hirst'in Treasures from
the Wreck of the Unbelievable (İnanılmazın Enkazından Hazineler) isimli
sergisi, 3 Aralık 2017 tarihine kadar ziyaret edilebilir. Sergiye Venedik'in en
önemli 2 müzesi Palazzo Grassi ve Punta Della Dogana aynı anda ev sahipliği
yapıyor. Her iki sergi mekanının bir sanatçıya aynı anda açılması Venedik
tarihinde bir ilk. Toplam 5000 m2 lik müze alanına sahip sergi, gezenleri hayal
ve gerçek arasında bir ziyarete çıkarıyor.
Cif
Amotan II isimli bir kölenin özgürlüğünü kazanmasının ardından hazinelerle dolu
gemisi ile çıktığı yolculuk ve bundan yaklaşık 2000 yıl önce Doğu Afrika
sahilinde batan gemisinin enkazından 2008 yılında çıkarılan sözde buluntular
serginin ana teması ve materyallerini oluşturuyor. Damien Hirst'ün hayal
gücünün bir ürünü olan serginin hikayesine göre Cif Amotan II isimli köleye ait
koleksiyon dönemin tüm toplum ve kültürlerinden elde edilen sanat eserlerinden
oluşmakta.
Sergi
sanatçının 10 yıl aradan sonra açtığı ilk sergi olma özelliğini de taşıyor.
The famous exhibition of the British artist
Damien Hirst's Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable can be visited
until 3 December 2017. The two most important venues in Venice are Palazzo
Grassi and Punta Della Dogana. The opening of both exhibition venues to an
artist at the same time is a first in Venice history. The exhibition, which has
a museum space of 5000 m2 in total, takes visitors to the exhibition between
dream and reality.
The main
theme of the exhibition is the findings
made in 2008 from the wreckage of a ship full of treasure after winning the
liberty of a named clan Cif Amotan II and the rubble of the sinking ship on the
East African coast about 2000 years ago. According to the story of the
exhibition, which is a product of Damien Hirst's imagination, the collection of
Cif Amotan II consists of works of art
all societies and culture of the period.
It is
also the first exhibition of the artist to be opened after 10 years.
